About Us
One world, One People

The Cibola Project is a visionary nonprofit dedicated to forest recovery, environmental restoration, and community unity. Founded by Lacey Lugar, our mission is to plant 9 million fire-resistant trees across seven global locations, creating sacred reforestation sanctuaries where nature and people thrive together.

History
At the heart of each Cibola site is a vibrational garden, a space filled with hormone-free, pesticide-free fruits and vegetables, sustained by clean water initiatives. These lush, selfsustaining ecosystems provide nourishment for both the land and the communities that tend to them, ensuring a future rooted in sustainability, education, and collective healing. Inspired by the ancient legend of the Seven Cities of Cibola and the Biblical concept of the Seven Heavens, we believe that restoring Earth’s forests is more than an environmental mission—it is a spiritual journey toward balance, harmony, and renewal. By uniting people from diverse backgrounds in the shared goal of regenerating the planet, the Cibola Project fosters a world where we recognize our commonalities over our differences, embracing community, love, and stewardship of the Earth.
